Claudius Reich

I'm a writer of dark fantasy/horror/other. Stories and other errata are listed below.

Check out my occasional blog, or a few quotes I've gathered for your elucidation and entertainment. And you can always drop me a line here, if you'd like to get on my mailing list or the like.

In addition, and in no particular order, here are a few of the folks that I read: Brian Hodge, Kathe Koja, Elizabeth Hand, Sam Delany, Euripides, Iain M. Banks, Joe Orton, Connie Willis, Nicola Griffith, Kit Whitfield, Kage Baker, Daphne Gottlieb, Alan Hollinghurst, Jeanette Winterson, W.B. Yeats, William S. Burroughs, George Orwell, J.G. Ballard, E. E. Cummings, and many, many others. (My bookshelves are 12' wide, 9' high, and I still don't have enough room...)

News: The Paramental Appreciation Society, a chapbook anthology about weird San Francisco, is back in print. My piece, "Fragments of a Barbary Coast", a series of vignettes about San Francisco's supernatural wildlife, is scattered among the other authors' stories. You can get it from Borderlands Books in San Francisco (in person or online), or, if they've run out, I'd be happy to send you a copy for $5 plus shipping. Here's a sample.
